The fundamental difference between ypo and truss is that YPO is like having a personal advisory board. It’s really focused on me and my growth—a huge educational focus.  Truss is really focused on developing relationships.  It is set up to infuse and build relationships between you and other business leaders that create opportunities for friendships and business opportunities.  Ypo frowns on you doing business with each other. Truss is built for you to do that.

Vistage is limited to 12-16 members in your group, so it significantly limits just network size. Vistage does allow for much deeper relationships quicker, provided your members actually want to open up. That’s an if.

Vistage is very business-centric—finding out about the person outside of their business takes longer. It’s around best practices and working ON the business. It’s not fun. It’s work. Useful and valuable. But work.

I’ve found network growth to be the largest win.

I can’t emphasize enough how transformative my experience with Truss has been as a solo entrepreneur. The value I’ve gained from connecting with like-minded professionals and learning from others in similar situations has been immeasurable.

I’m a new member, and have been welcomed with open arms by all. The camaraderie and support I’ve found within this community have been nothing short of incredible. Not only have I expanded my professional network, but I’ve also gained access to a wealth  of knowledge and expertise that I wouldn’t have had access to otherwise.

One of the most significant advantages of being a part of this group is the opportunity to learn from others. The diverse backgrounds and experiences of fellow entrepreneurs provide a rich tapestry of insights and ideas. Whether it’s solving a specific business challenge, exploring new marketing strategies, or navigating the complexities of entrepreneurship, the Truss Networking Group has been my go-to resource. The willingness of members to share their successes and failures, coupled with the valuable feedback I’ve received, has been instrumental in shaping my business strategy.

Beyond the practical advice and knowledge exchange, there’s also a unique sense of encouragement and motivation that comes from being a part of this group. The collective energy and shared passion for entrepreneurship is truly inspiring. It’s reassuring to know that you’re not alone on this challenging journey and that there’s a supportive community ready to cheer you on and help you overcome obstacles.
