Frequently Asked Questions

What does the name Truss mean?

A truss is a structure that is strong because of how the individual parts are assembled together. The most common example is a truss bridge, easily recognized by its triangular configuration. A truss is a symbol of strength – strength in unity, organization, and structure. We extend the metaphor to our organization as we strengthen relationships to produce opportunities for our members.

Who can join?

To be a member of Truss you must meet a specific set of criteria. We do this to ensure that our members can relate to each other. Having similar goals, challenges and experiences accelerate future opportunities. Click here for more details about who can join.

How much do memberships cost?

Memberships vary in price depending on how many people are involved and how many destination experiences you attend.

Is the membership for the company or individual?

Our memberships are for the company and anyone that qualifies inside your organization can attend.

Who else is involved?

We have an amazing group of members.  To see a list of some of the companies involved click here.

What if I can’t make all the events?

All our members are very busy people, and on average they only make it to about half of all our local events. Our members still find their membership valuable even if they don’t attend all the events. Local events come with all Truss packages, we want to see you as often as you can!

My spouse doesn’t like events, will this be a problem?

No, this will not be a problem. We have plenty of additional events that are not couples events and you can bring a guest of your choice to any of the couples events.

What if I need to cancel?

All our memberships come with a 12-month commitment. Creating meaning relationships takes time and without a commitment of a minimum of 12 months, we won’t be able to provide you with the value we promise.
